El Tesoro del Inca: Reviews & Ratings
I finally got a taste of the famous Peruvian cuisine. This restaurant did an excellent job on delivering on authentic Peruvian flavors. Service was quick and friendly as well.
8/10 food was served hot and quickly. Excellent staff, would recommend.
Amazon Peruvian food. I recommend the Leche de Tigre and the Seco de Cabrito. If you order these two dishes, it is enough to share for two people, and still take a little home. Also get a pitcher of the Chicha Morada. I promise this is the best combo! Enjoy. btw, the owner is really nice and loads you up with Peruvian candy before you leave.
Amazing authentic Peruvian food. We ordered the arroz con mariscos and seco de cabrito and were impressed by the quality and taste as well as the generous portions for the price. The maracuya and chicha morada drinks were delicious as well. They stock plenty of Peruvian grocery items as well. Friendly service and will definitely return.
We had an incredible lunch at El Tesoro del Inca! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly service; The atmosphere is fantastic, and the restaurant also offers Peruvian products and decorations for purchase. Most importantly, the staff’s warm and welcoming attention made us feel right at home. To start, we ordered the Chicharrón de Pescado and Lomo Montado—both were perfectly seasoned and left us craving more. The Duo Marino was a fantastic combo of crispy Chicharrón de Pescado and tangy Ceviche de Pescado, and every bite was fresh and full of flavor. FYI, portions are big! The Chicha Morada and Maracuya drinks were refreshing and complemented our meal beautifully. For sides, the Yucca Frita and Plátano Frito were deliciously crispy. And dessert was the perfect finale—Leche Asada was creamy and smooth, while the Pionono de Manjar Blanco was the ideal balance of sweetness. El Tesoro del Inca delivered an amazing dining experience that truly captured the heart of Peruvian cuisine. Highly recommend it, five stars !
This place is where you get hit with flavor, sound, and love—all in one sitting. Huge portions, real Peruvian taste, and lightning-fast service. Lorena (I think that was her name?) took care of us with the warmest smile—I love her. Music and overall noise are loud, but honestly, that’s part of the vibe. It feels like you’ve been dropped straight into Lima. Come hungry, leave happy (and maybe a little in love).
I had such a great experience at El Tesoro del Inca! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. We tried several dishes: the chicken noodle soup, causa limeña, pollo a la brasa with fries and salad, yuca frita with dipping sauces, and the lomo saltado. Every plate was amazing, but the lomo saltado and pollo a la brasa were standouts. The portions are generous, the sauces are on point, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. The owner was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, which made the meal even better. If you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food in the DFW area, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!
First of all, the food was GREAT! But, the service… I have never felt better served than how I was treated here, service is ESPECTACULAR! I am Peruvian and never leave 5 star reviews unless it really deserves it. Great food, service and prices. We came as a group of 22 people and they easily accommodated us and we didn’t have any issues splitting the checks. Everyone without exception was very kind and helpful. 100% recommended and will come back again whenever I visit Texas.
